Fred William Ernest, 60, of 1323 North Eighth street, a former baker at Midwest Biscuit company for 27 years, died at 2 a.m. Sunday [December 2, 1951] after a short illness.
He was born October 16, 1891, in Burlington, and was married here December 24, 1928, to the former Lula Warth. Ernest was a member of the Church of the Open Bible and Disabled American veterans. He was a veteran of World War I . His widow survives. A sister and 2 brothers are dead.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Open Bible with Reverend T. H. Staton officiating.
The body will be taken Wednesday morning from Burnett Wallen funeral home to the church. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
