Frank A. Bailey, 70, or 919 St. 3rd St, died at his home on Saturday at 8:20 am. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was born Feb 21, 1884, in Burlington the son of John and Mary McAnally Bailey. A veteran. Of World war one, he was a member of the American Legion and had been employed as a gardener. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Bailey of Burlington Mrs. Fannie Miller of Davenport; a brother, Henry William Bailey of Burlington, and several nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers and a sister are dead.
The body is at Prugh's chapel.
