Donald R. Engberg, 1515 Spray, died Sunday, Oct. 1, in Burlington Memorial hospital. Mr. Engberg was a native of BUrlington and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sigfred Engberg. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Engberg married Ruth A. Anderson in Burlington on May 2, 1942. He was a carpenter by trade. Mr. Engberg was a member of Messiah Lutheran church, Carpenters Union Local 534 and the UCT. Surviving: The wife; son Robert Engberg, Iowa City, and daughter Mrs. Mary L. Bloomquist, Burlington. Funeral: Messiah church at 2 p.m. Tuesday; Rev. Clyde Norrgard; Aspen Grove cemetery. The body is at Sheagren funeral home. A memorial has been established for Messiah church.
