Bertha E. Bromann, 97, of 501 Sumer Street, Burlington died at 3:35 pm Thursday, Jan. 6, 1994, at Klein Hospital.
Born Oct. 7, 1896, in Ottumwa, she was the daughter of William and Jemima Williams Green. On Oct. 25, 1919, she married Henry F. Bromann. He died Sept. 21, 1976.
Mrs. Bromann was a homemaker. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mary Martha Circle, and the Post Office Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Burgin of Burlington; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Sunday at Prugh’s Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Bromann will be at 1:30 pm Monday at Prugh’s Chapel with the Rev. Dale Warner and the Rev. Alan Ourth officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
