Funeral services for Albert Earl Morse Cuddeback, 65, who died at Marceline, Mo., on Monday from injuries received in an automobile crash on Oct. 13, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Prugh's chapel with the Rev. A.E. Brent in charge. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery with military rites by the VFW. Born in West Burlington on Oct. 11, 1888, he was the son of Manville D. and Florence Zigler Cuddeback, and was married to Reva Brenneke at Kahoka, Mo., on Oct. 25, 1935. He was a member of the West Burlington Methodist church; a member of Eagles, VFW, and Cooties, and was a veteran of naval service in World War i. He had worked as a machinist and tool maker for the Iowa Ordnance plant for six years, and had formerly worked for Day and Zimmerman at the plant. Surviving are his widow; a brother, J.E. cuddeback, Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. A sister and a half-brother died previously. The body arrived in Burlington on Tuesday and was taken to the residence from Prugh's on Wednesday afternoon, and will be returned to the chapel on Thursday.
