Obituary
Aaron William Breuer, 60, 210 Emmett Street, died at his home at 11:45 pm Wednesday following an extended illness.
A tool and die maker at the Iowa Ordnance plant, he was born Apr. 20, 1897, in Burlington, the son of John and Clara Breuer. He married the former Evelyn Nelson in Burlington Apr. 28, 1920. He was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed church.
Surviving are his wife; five sons, Jack, Robert, Richard, Kenneth, and James, all of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Ford of Burlington and Mrs. Lyle Lewis of California; two sisters, Mrs. Selma Norberg and Mrs. Chester Stoermer of Burlington and 12 grandchildren. Three children and two sisters are dead.
Services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Prugh’s chapel. The Rev. RG Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Members of the family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 pm Friday.
